I must say this is one of the biggest tourist traps i’ve ever fallen into. Rovaniemi is hideous, and has absolutely zero interest, but snow tends to disguise it. On the other hand, if your plan is to explore the beautiful lapland region, yeah sure waste a couple hours there, but don’t make that the center of your trip.

Do you have any videos of reindeer that still have their antlers, like the Running of the Reindeer in Anchorage Alaska?
In Finnish Lapland the reindeer lose their antlers in January or February. You reindeer races are taking place later in the winter after that.
